A true love affair with color best describes the substance of Alexi’s work. Alexi is an advocate of impressionism, gentle but commanding landscapes, bright and colorful floral still life and her desire to test the limits of her abilities with both color and subject gives freshness to her work. To seek inspiration, she explores locations in search of exciting combination of light and color, including such extraordinary places as: Tuscany, Italy, Giverny, France, New Orleans, Louisiana, Carmel by the Sea, California, and Santa Barbara, California.
